Are you looking for a job in UX? This event lets employers and practitioners meet, learn and find new career opportunities. Kindly hosted and sponsored by Thomson Reuters. (See directions).
There will be speed dating followed by a traditional open house careers fair.

When you arrive, you will need to choose either the speed dating or the Q&A panel. The careers fair will be open to all and will commence after the panel and speed dating.
To make the most out of the evening, don’t forget to bring copies of your CV & portfolio.
We will also be collecting CVs to share with companies/agencies attending the event, so if you would like us to share your CV with the above exhibitors, please email it (before the event) to Raj.
‘Speed dating’ – How to find your perfect partner
In this track you will have the opportunity to meet a selection of different companies who are recruiting for UX roles. Each interview lasts 5 minutes, then on to the next one!
To make the most of this event, be sure to come prepared. Here are a few quick tips:
- Research the companies before attending the event
- Update and refine your CV (or better yet: customise it for each company)
- Bring business cards, your portfolio, or something that will make you memorable
- Bring a notepad and pen
Please note that this part of the evening is first come, first served. Arrive early to avoid disappointment. Don’t forget, if you would like your CV to be shared with the exhibiting employers please email it to Raj.
Q&A Panel – Choosing the best UX path for you
Where next? Agency or client side? Start-up or corporate? The UX job market is hotter than ever, what should your next career move be? Three panelists talk about their experience of working at each, helping you make an informed choice for your next career move, and how you may need to tailor your pitch.
The panel will be chaired by Be Kaler with Julian Hirst CEO of Tobias and Tobias, Gil Kahana Founder of start-up Chatty Feet and Anna Dahlstrom UX Mentor and Trainer.
