What kind of future are we designing for?

This year’s World Usability Day topic is on “Designing for the Future we want” – and what best way to celebrate than with a panel discussion with members from a range of backgrounds and organisations. The topic was inspired from the 17 Sustainable Development goals set by the United Nations, which cover anything in between creating sustainable cities, to gender equality, climate action, and even well being. You can read more about these 17 Sustainable Development goals here.

As UX Practioners in both theory and practice, we generally find ourselves working for organizations that focus on the future as it relates to their bottom line, but is it our responsibility to influence the direction of the future of the communities we’re part of – both professionally and personally?

Join us on November 14th to discuss:

We will be crowd sourcing questions for the second half of the night, so come prepared.
