On Thursday, November 10th 2022 UXPA UK mark World Usability Day with a topic that is arguably more important than any other – Our Health.
We will host a panel of expert practitioners who will discuss and take Q&A from you, the audience, on a range of topics related to UX, strategy, design, development and management of digital health solutions and working with, and building teams of, UX healthcare practitioners.

Meet the Panelists:
Imogen Levy
Imogen is currently the Head of Product in NHS England with a focus on urgent and emergency care. She has many years leading/embedding/growing digital teams in large complex organisations. She is an advocate and leader for product thinking and user-centred design processes. Her current focus is on bringing a product approach to policy initiatives in the urgent and emergency care space.
Topics of interest:
- Bringing product thinking, UCD and policy closer together.
- Digital transformation in the NHS
- Product leadership (without any products ! )
Haydyn Phillips
Haydyn has a background in HCI & applied psychology and leads one of the UX R&D teams in the U.K including work across digital and behavioral health & supporting functions. Haydyn is a lover of stats and the impact that behavioural science research and UX can have on healthcare now and into the future.

Abbi Arumugam
Abbi has a Masters degree in biomedical engineering and has been working in the Health space since 2012. Abbi leads the new medical conditions UX research program for Onduo, a digital app at Verily Life Sciences. Previously, she worked at Philips Healthcare, a medical device manufacturer , where she led Human Factors and Clinical validation efforts in the Critical Care Patient Monitoring Business division.

Emma Dyer
Emma has over 15 years experience working in user research for the design, public and third sectors. Emma has spent the last six years of her career focusing on Dementia and older people. From introducing co-production into care homes to telepresence robotics, dementia friendly television to teleconferencing software, she has worked with older people with a vast array of needs to deliver a wide variety of projects.
