The International Usability and UX Qualification Board (UXQB) is a consortium of international experts in usability and user experience and is recognised by UXPA UK, UXPA Switzerland and the German UPA. The purpose of UXQB is the development and maintenance of a world-wide Certified Professional for Usability and User Experience (CPUX) program.

Back in May, in collaboration with the UXQB, we launched the CPUX program in the UK. Industry guru Rolf Molich jetted in to London and joined us to present full details of the Foundation and Advanced level certification schemes to an audience of UX professionals.

Since then, 2015 has seen the scheme continue to spread across Europe. In the UK, 30 certification tests have taken place, and we are pleased to announce 11 UXPA UK members have now sat the exam. UK-based agencies Bunnyfoot and User Vision have joined 20 other organisations spread across 6 European countries as recognised CPUX-F training providers. There are now a total of 749 CPUX-F Certified Professionals in Europe. Will you be the next?

The scheme has now expanded throughout the UK and, in association with User Vision, the first CPUX-F training event to be held in Scotland takes place in Edinburgh between 24th–26th November 2015 and has now completely sold out. What a success story! Good luck to everyone who participates in this upcoming event.

Don’t worry if you missed out this time around. Looking forward to 2016, Bunnyfoot will hold their second CPUX-F training seminar which will commence on the 19th January and User Vision will hold further events in both London and Edinburgh in the New Year. Don’t forget, current UXPA members are eligible for a 10% discount. Details on how to claim this will be provided on the event information page.

UXPA UK will you keep you fully updated of the dates and locations of all future training events delivered by recognised training providers so be sure to visit this site again soon and also sign up for our newsletter.
